PURPOSE:To improve fitting rigidity to the cutter holder of a tool block by forcibly fixing the engaging convex part of a tool block provided with a cutting blade tip to the concave part wall surface of a holder via a tightening mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The convex part 6 of a tool block 3 is fitted in the concave part 5 of a notched step 4 provided on the holder 1, and the tool block 3 is mounted on the holder 1 by a tightening member 9. Namesly, a nut 11 is threaded into the tightening member 9, and the engaging head part 10 of the tightening member 9 is engaged with the engaging hole 15 of the tool block 3 to permit the wedge piece 13 of the tightening member 9 to effect the wedge action produced between the mounting hole 16 of the tool block 3 and the concave part of the holder 1 allowing the tool block 3 to be forcibly pressed on the wall surface 17 of the concave part 5 and the wall surface 18 of the notched step 4. Hereby, fitting rigidity of the tool block 3 to the holder 1 can be raised, while the position accuracy of the blade tip 8 can be improved. |
