PURPOSE:To improve safety of a food weight detecting type heating device and its usefulness by detecting food weight with a load sensor supporting a demountable scale with a leaf spring having the load sensor thereby controlling electricity supply to a magnetron via a controller. CONSTITUTION:When food is placed on a scale 11, the scale descends and pushes down a leaf spring 13 via a slider 12. A load sensor 14 detects the amount of the descent and inputs it to a controller 16. The controller 16 controls electricity supply to a magnetron 9 according to the weight of food. Heating with no load is prevented because the magnetron 9 is not activated unless there is food on the scale. Futhermore, usefulness is improved because of a demountable and storable scale 11. |
