PURPOSE:To make the whole body of the valve light and compact by a method wherein a yoke is secured to the outside wall of a valve box by screwing and a packing is arranged in order to prevent leakage between the valve box and a valve rod. CONSTITUTION:A reverse seat 400 is secured to a reverse seat attaching section 106 by screwing. The packing 500 is filled into an inserting hole 105 to prevent the leakage of high-pressure fluid from a space between the valve rod 300 and the valve box 100. A screw section for the annular section 630 of the yoke 600 is fitted to the screw section 108 of the valve box 100. A gland flange 800, engaging with two pieces of gland bolts 700 retained to the arm section 640 of the yoke 600 and adjusted by gland nuts 710, is provided and a gland 650, pushed and pressed by said gland flange 800, is fitted loosely into the inserting hole 105 of the valve box 100 to generate a proper sealing pressure in the packing 500 and preclude the leakage of the high-pressure fluid. |
