PURPOSE:To roll solid as well as hollow materials with a simple device, by using two arc-shaped gear inside type tool in the gear inside type rolling method to roll materials in the interference region where both tools are rotated in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:Arc-shaped gear inside type tools 1a and 1b for overall or partially rolling of teeth are attached to discs 2a and 2b coaxially, and shafts 3a and 3b are connecte to discs coaxially. Axes of shafts 3a and 3b are parallel with each other, and tools 1a and 1b are placed in a face perpendicular to these axes, and tools 1a and 1b are so arranges that the distance between centers of them is shorter than the sum of radiuses of them. In the generation of teeth on materials W, a positioning jig 4 is positioned in a prescribed position in an interference region A, and materials W are set onto the jig 4 by a carrying-in jig 6. When shafts 3a and 3b are rotated, tools 1a and 1b are rotated and bite materials W. The jig 6 is evacuated above in this process, and the jig is turned and evacuated also by the detection of this biting to advance the rolling, and molded materials W' drops naturally. |
