<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accumulate sound data as voice mail data without giving the recording device of sound to a client terminal by setting management information on the client terminal in LAN to a voice mail mode by means of a specified server in LAN. SOLUTION: An address server 903 receives a voice mail mode setting request command from the client terminal 902 and sets the state of the terminal management number 2002 of a terminal management table 907 to the voice mail mode. When an internet telephone call is made from a telephone set 902 to the client terminal 902, the address server 903 informs a terminal connection device 901 that the client terminal 902 is at the voice mail mode. The terminal connection device 901 transmits voice mail data to the address server 903. Even if the power of the client terminal 902 is cut, voice mail data addressed to the client terminal 902 can be recorded/preserved.</p> |
