<p>PURPOSE:To simultaneously remove SO2, NO and soot in an exhaust gas by using a material obtained by calcining rhyorite (asbestos waste stone) and peridotite as absorbent. CONSTITUTION:Waste stone obtained after asbestos is collected from serpentinite or peridotite is calcined in a fluidized calcination kiln and, after grinding, water is added to the obtained ground calcined material to pelletize the same and the resulting pellet is introduced into an absorbing tower 7. The exhaust gas obtained by burning a heavy oil 1 by a burner 4 is sucked by a blower 9 and, after cooled by a water cooling pipe 5, passed through the absorbing tower 7. Occasionally, water is supplied from a shower 19. When the surface of said pellet is solidified to be formed into a shell and absorbing ratio of SO2 and NOx is lowered, the pellet is taken out to be ground and, if water is added thereto to again granulate the same, absorbing force thereof is restored and four-five times of uses thereof are enabled. For example, as for soot, when 500min is elapsed from the starting of the test, it is 0.152g/m<2> at an inlet side and 0.036g/ m<2> at an outlet side and a removal rate thereof is about 76.3%.</p> |
