<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality image having a smooth motion, by transmitting the information showing an optimum estimating system plus the estimation error signal in response to the produced information quantity. CONSTITUTION:The input TV signal is fed to a delaying circuit 10 and an optimum estimation deciding circuit 11. A substractor circuit 12 performs a subtraction with the delayed input TV signal and the optimum estimation signal that passed through a variable delaying circuit 13 to produce the estimation error signal. A compressing/coding circuit 17 gives the compression and coding to the estimation error signal and the information showing the optimum estimating system and transfers the output to a buffer memory 100. When the difference (quantity of produced information) S is small between the write and read addresses of the memory 100, both of the information are transmitted. While only the information showing the optimum estimating method is coded by a coding control circuit 16 in case the difference S increases. When the difference S increases more, the coding is discontinued for both of the information.</p> |
