PURPOSE:To obtain a linear motion using a motor as its power source in which a quiet operation can be expected, by threadably engaging a slidable hollow rod with a rotatable threaded rod fixed via sleeve to a motor rotor. CONSTITUTION:When an electric current is applied to a motor stator 9 or the motor rotor 13, the sleeve 12 and the threaded rod 14 are rotated. This rotational movement is converted through a nut 16 whose rotation is prevented due to the connection with a bracket B into a linear motion of a rod 7, so that the opration apparatus can be extended or contracted as a whole, and the distance between the bracket A and the bracket B can be varied. |
