PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical heat retaining fabric having versatility, i.e., capable of imparting heat retaining property to all fabrics, and excellent in heat retaining properties, wherein the heat retaining properties can be surely verified by well-known measuring methods. SOLUTION: This heat retaining fabric comprises a fabric body and at least one selected from metallic oxide-based powders, carbon black and infrared absorption pigments and is provided with the infrared absorption agent imparted to the fabric body.
