PURPOSE:To ensure the recording with high density in a recording system for a medium moving close to a gap part of a magnetic head, by generating the magnetic charge of the same magnetic pole at the electrodes which are opposite to each other centering on the gap part and accordingly increasing the vertical component of the thickness direction of the medium. CONSTITUTION:A gap 52 is formed at a part of a magnetic core 51, and a pair of coils 55 are wound onto the magnetic core which forms a magnetic path of a magnetic head. The coils 55 are connected to each other in other adversely parallel or in adversely series. A recording medium containing base film 53 and a magnetic film 54 is provided to the magnetic head at a position close to a gap 52, and then the magnetic head is shifted. A magnetic layer composed of the magnetic particles of >=1 layer is formed on the film 54 by the coating, the vapor desposition, the deposition or the transfer. Thus the output of a recording amplifier 56 is supplied to the coil 55, and as a result, the magnetic charge of the same polarity is generated at a pair of magnetic poles which are opposite to each other centering on the gap 52. Then the vertical component of the thickness direction of the film 54 performs the main magnetizing function. Thus the recording is possible with high density without no strong vertical anisotropy required for the film 54. |
