PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in that when a metal-braided sleeve is used as a bent state, gaps are formed in its mesh, its shielding effect becomes poor and it is difficult to obtain its reliability. SOLUTION: This metal wire-braided sleeve is obtained by forming a plastic deformation at knitted crossing points of metal wires 1, 1, etc. As the metal wires 1, 1, etc., a combination of one or two kinds or more of a soft copper wire, a tin-plated soft copper wire, an aluminum wire, or a stainless steel wire having 0.1-0.3 mm wire diameterΦ, is braided. The plastic deformation is formed through an up and down-moving core metal 2 equipped with a straight part 2a having a prescribed diameter and a small diameter part 2c installed at the upper position of the straight part 2a as adjacent through a shoulder part 2b. Concretely, the metal wires 1, 1, etc., are knitted around the small diameter part 2b while moving the up and down-moving core metal 2 up and down, and at the same time, the plastic deformation is mechanically performed, while compressing each of the braid crossing parts with the shoulder part 2b of the core metal 2 in a prescribed timing.
