PURPOSE:To prevent damage to a hose at its starting end connected to a tank by providing a device for automatically stopping the revolution of a hose reel when the hose has been completely let out. CONSTITUTION:A hose 10 passes through guide rollers 20 and a hose passage window 11 to be wound on a core cylinder 3 of a reel 2. When the hose 10 is wound in like this, the winding force of the hose presses a ? shaped arm 16 against the outside surface of the core cylinder 3 and a rotating shaft 14 and a link 17 turn counterclockwise to be held between the hose 10 and the core cylinder 3 by the tension of a spring 18 which has been stretched by their motions. When the hose is reeled out nearly completely, the ? shaped arm 16 spreads out to rub against the inside surface of a cover 9 thereby to brake the revolving motion of the reel 2, thus making it possible to prevent the reel from turning excessively and to avoid damage to the hose at its starting end so that the working efficiency may be so much improved. |
