<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to confirm the tape side prior to the loading of the tape and to display the working side, by designating directly the recording and reproducing sides. CONSTITUTION:The tape side is detected according to the presence or absence of the screw holes 18-22 or the setting screws 13-17 on a cassette half surface of a loaded cassette tape 10. According to the result of the detection, the system control signals of auto-reverse are switched. As a result, both the reproducing or recording side of the tape 10 and the related quick forward and rewind directions can be directly designated regardless of the loading state of the tape 10.</p> |
