PURPOSE:To increase frequency responsiveness and at the same time to realize simple and miniature constitution for a pickup device, by making an objective lens rotatable by a slight degree via an elastic member. CONSTITUTION:A swing arm 8 is adhered to an elastic member 7 stuck to the tip of a shaf 5a which is implanted to a substrate 5, and an objective lens 10 is provided at an end of the arm 8. Then the current is flowed to coils 9 and 9' which are opposite to focusing and tracking members 6 and 6'. As a result, the lens 10 turns together with the arm 8 toward both focusing (Z) and tracking (X) directions. Thus frequency responsiveness is enhanced, and at the same time simple and miniature constitution is attained for a pickup device. |
