PURPOSE: An artificial eyesight system for blind persons is provided to reduce the risk of intracranial infection, and to partially preserve the functions of geniculo cortical fiber. CONSTITUTION: The artificial eyesight system for blind persons is comprised of an artificial eyesight device for forming an image of an object by receiving the light emitted from the object; an image processing device for converting the formed image into a transmittible image format; and an image transmission device for transmitting the format image to a user to allow the user to recognize the object.
