<p>The wind turbine permits utilisation of the pressure or displacement of a fluid. It is configured as a horizontally mounted, conically shaped turbine with an integrally mounted electric generator. The conical turbine is mounted on a rotating table at the head of a vertical pylon. The cone is in two parts, the narrow end being fixed to the table and supporting the axial shaft which carries the rotating wide end of the cone on cross braces. Blades lie along the outer surface of the moving part of the cone to capture the wind energy. The supporting pylon may be dismantable, being equipped with a system of hinges.</p> |
