In the case of the wristwatch according to the invention, the watch-strap (11) is fully integrated with the housing since it is inserted in the gap between housing upper part (7) and housing lower part (4) in a manner such that it cannot be seen from the outside. On each of the two opposite sides, the housing lower part (4) has a cutout (12) which extends virtually over the entire width of the outer wall of the housing lower part (4), the bottom area (15) of which is inclined to correspond to the exit angle of the watch-strap and which ends at the sides in enlargements (13, 13') in a manner such that cheeks (14, 14') on both sides are retained. The wristwatch can be provided with any desired type of watch-strap. The watch-strap must merely have on its end at the sides short stubs which reach behind the cheeks. The ends of the watch-strap (11) to be inserted are provided with a hard profile wire (17) (metal straps, stretchable straps) or with a hard metal part (19) (leather straps), which profile wire or metal part protrudes on both sides somewhat beyond the strap width and reaches behind the cheeks (14, 14') of the cutout (12) provided in the housing lower part (4). By screwing together housing upper part (7) and housing lower part (4), the watch-strap (11) is held firmly. <IMAGE>
