PURPOSE:To improve the contact between a positive mixture piee and a positive can, and make the closed-circuit voltage during the heavy-load discharge of a button- type battery large by forming a convex curvature surface at the bottom of the positive mixture piece beforehand. CONSTITUTION:A molded positive mixture piece 2, which principally consists of silver oxide or the like and around which a pedestal 1 having a reverse-L-shaped section is attached, is formed into a convex shape during the molding by being curved by a curved degree of (d) so that a bottom 12 of the positive mixture piece 2 conforms to the shape of a bottom 11 of a positive can 3. Next, an acid- proof micro-porous film 4, a semipermeable membrane 5 made of a cellophane, a liquid absorbing paper 6, a gasket 7, and a negative can 9 packed with a negative agent 8 consisting of a mixture of zinc powder and a gel-like alkaline electrolyte, in that order, are placed over the positive mixture piece 2. After that, the negative can 9 is caulked by curling an opening part 10 of the positive can 3 inwardly. |
