CONSTITUTION:When the conduit port 2 at one edge of the body 1 of a ram pump is connected to the conduit 6 for introducing water from a level 5 and a water discharge valve 3 installed on the other edge is opened, water is discharged outside the body 1. The weight of the water discharge valve 3 is desirably to be small, but if the weight of the water discharge valve 3 is too small, the water discharge valve 3 closes immediately after opening even if the stroke S is increased. Therefore, the generated pressure is increased by applying the pressure of 0.02-0.12 times of the hydrostatic pressure onto the water in the body 1. |
