PURPOSE:To prevent generation of an air bubble in a valve chamber, by setting tension of a spring, pressing the valve body of a feed for a distributor type fuel injection pump to the valve seat, lower than minimum internal pressure of the injection pump under a normal operational condition. CONSTITUTION:Pressing tension of a spring 6, pressig a valve body 5 to a valve seat body 4, is set lower than minimum internal pressure of a pump undr a normal operational condition. In this way, after a seating of the valve body 5 to the valve seat body 4, the valve body 5 is lifted to communicate a feed valve chamber 7a to a distribution passage chamber 2 and balance pressures in the both chambers because pressure in the distribution passage chamber 2, that is, pressure internally of the pump is higher than a preset load of the spring 6. At unloading of the valve body 5 by an unloading piston 5e, an air bubble generated in the feed valve chamber 7a is immediately removed by this internal pressure of the pump simultaneously pressure in the feed valve chamber 7a is always balanced to pressure in the distribution passage chamber 2, then unevenness of a fuel injection quanity and injection timing can be reduced. |
