PURPOSE:To facilitate the wiping of decomposition products adhering to an X-ray tube by charging an insulating mixture gas containing an appropriate amount of water into a sealed case, and shorten the cleaning time of the X-ray tube by providing a cleaner which can be operated from outside an X-ray generator. CONSTITUTION:An insulating mixture gas 14 containing an appropriate amount of moisture is charged between a sealed case 13 and an X-ray tube 11. As the result, decomposition products adhering to the X-ray tube 11 are wet and adhere to the tube 11 with weak adhesions, and the insulation resistance of the outer wall of the tube 11 can be restored close to zero without leaving any trace of a corrosion on the outer wall of the tube 11 by wiping out the decomposition products softly. A sliding member 21, which is rotated and slidden by means of an arm 22, is attachable to the outer wall of the tube 11, and the tube 11 can be wiped without being spoiled. By the means mentioned above, the wiping work can be performed inside the X-ray generator, and any contamination of the X- ray generator or invasion of moisture which might be caused due to the wiping work can be completely prevented. In addition, the cleaning time can be shortened, and the cost of the X-ray generator can be reduced. |
