Cistern Regulator A water saving device for controlling the frequency of urinal cistern flushes comprises a float which actuates a microswitch. As the water level in the cistern falls during flushing, the microswitch closes and activates an electronic control means; this closes a valve to cut off the water supply to the cistern through the inlet pipe and a twenty minute timer to be actuated. Twenty minutes later the valve is opened by the control means and the cistern fills at full water pressure and empties through a syphon and downpipe. The process is repeated throughout the day.
