The invention relates to a table on seats, in particular in vehicles of all types, the seats being arranged individually or in pairs in rows one behind the other, and each table being able to be moved from a position of rest or non-use which does not interfere with the space into a position of use which can easily be reached by the respective seat user, and vice versa. In order that the table can be moved into an absolutely non-interfering position, it is proposed that the table (8) be linked directly or indirectly transversely to the seating direction in a hinge-like manner on the seat frame (2) on the side of the seat (1) or between the seats (1) in the case of seats (1) being arranged in pairs, that is to say in the case of double seats, and that the attachment arm (5) and axis of rotation (cf. 18) be selected such that, with a convenient position of use of the table (6), the latter can be folded into the free space (13) below the seat (1) or seats (1). <IMAGE>
