A load-bearing arch, in particular for tent structures, comprises a plurality of rigid arch elements (1) which are connected to one another in an articulated manner. Each arch element (1) has two parallel crossmembers (10) which are connected fixedly to one another by spacers extending perpendicularly to the arch plane. In order to be able to mount the load-bearing arch rapidly on the building site with a small number of connections and, nevertheless, transport it easily, every second articulation (3) is adjoined by at least one support (4), the support head (5) of which is connected to the neighbouring articulations (7) via struts (6), and the support heads (5) are connected to one another by cables (8). The supports (4) can project towards the centre of the arch and/or towards the outside. In the latter case, struts and cables are also provided on the arch on the outside. The arch elements (1) and the struts (6) can be collapsed into a parallel position, preferably about the articulations connecting them, in order to form transporting units. <IMAGE>
