The pacemaker comprises means to block the signals received in the ventricle for the control of the pacemaker (refractory period), a first memory (121), which may be modified and intended to preserve a signal defining a maximum time interval between successive pulses generated in the auricle without triggering of a stimulation, and switching means influencing the content of a second memory (8) intended to set the refractory period of the ventricle as a function of the content of the first memory so that the duration of the refractory period is increased with an increasing time interval. |
