<p>The pacemaker comprises first switching means (101, 102) generating a first output signal from signals which are derivated from the heart, second switching means (120, 220) comprising clock means and generating a second output signal after a first given time interval, means for processing the signals connected to the output of the switching means to receive the first and second output signals and driving a pulse generator circuit (104, 204) to generate stimulation pulses, third switching means (30, 31) responsive to the first and second switching means to change over the signal processing means, for a second time interval, from a stand by state without or with a low energy consumption to an operating state for the processing of the signals, during which the processing means predispose the clock means of the second switching means for delivering the second output signal at a time where a stimulation pulse must be generated and/or control the pulse generator circuit for the immediate generation of a stimulation pulse.</p> |
