In this point machine with two actuation slides (S1, S2), an intermediate element (Z) with two rollers (R1, R2) is guided in a stationary link (K) in such a way that at both limit positions in each case one actuation slide (S1 or S2, respectively) is locked in a positively engaging fashion, whilst the other actuation slide (S2 or S1, respectively) can be changed over during a trailing process after a retaining force is overcome, as a result of which the positive engagement of the respectively locked actuation slide (S1 or S2, respectively) is released. <IMAGE>
