PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover for a mowing machine that has high safety because of its excellent visibility and can readily detachable and adaptive to a variety of grass height and a mowing machine covered with the same. SOLUTION: The protective cover is equipped with a circular rotary blade and a shaft part that is obliquely attached to the rotary blade and has the first protective part 2 that covers almost semicircular part on the side where the shaft part is obliquely attached to the rotary blade and the second protective part 3 that covers the remaining semicircular part with a rake-shaped cover in which the first protective part 2 is equipped with a fixing part 5 that can hold the shaft part.
