PURPOSE:To perform the conversion of a system without any hindrance to services by using both a new and an old terminal equipment temporarily. CONSTITUTION:When systems need be changed owing to a change of passes, controllers capable of controlling both new and old terminal equipment of systems are installed at entrance gates respectively. At exit gates, controllers capable of controlling both the terminal equipment of the old system and terminal equipment of the new system which can read passes of both the new and old systems are installed, and the terminal equipment of the old lsystem is connected. The terminal equipment at the exit gates is changed over to the latter ones successively. Then, the terminal equipment at the entrance gates is switched successively from the old system to the new system. Next, the pass reading function of the old system is removed from the terminal equipment at the exit gates. |
