PURPOSE:To improve the operability, by arranging retrieval symbol keys of a high use frequency independently and providing a means which checks logically an inputted retrieval expression before outputting the retrieval expression to the external. CONSTITUTION:Retrieval symbol keys of a high use frequency are arranged independently, and a means is provided which checks logically an inputted retrieval expression before outputting it to the external. For example, general characters and symbols are inputted by information input keys 1 and operation controlling keys 3 and are encoded by a character encoding circuit 4 and are stored in an output buffer circuit 6. Next, retrieval symbols are inputted by retrieval symbol keys 2 and are encoded by a retrieval encoding circuit 5 and are stored in the output buffer circuit 6. The retrieval expression is checked logically by a logical check controlling circuit 7 before data stored in the output buffer circuit 6 are transmitted; and if data are correct, data are transmitted; and if logical miss is detected, a buzzer 9 is sounded through a buzzer driving circuit 8. |
