PURPOSE:To eliminate the nonefficiency of the trigger mechanism under the centralized control of software, by providing specific update command register, update command buffer, associative memory, address stack, state storge device, etc. CONSTITUTION:A storage device 2 where procedures for the maintenance of data base (DB) are stored, a DB processing device 1 where all DB operation commands are executed, an update command register 4 where a DB operation command in course of processing is stored temporarily, and an update command buffer 9 where the copy of contents of the register 4 is stored are provided. Further, an associative memory 5 which holds DB update commands and storage addresses of maintenance procedures corresponding to these commands and outputs storage addresses of procedures coincident with DB operation command, an address stack 6 where contents of an instruction counter 3 are stored in accordance with the coincidence signal from the memory 5, a state storage device 8 which holds contents of the buffer 9 at the generation time of the coincidence signal and execution results of DB maintenance procedures in the storage device 2 called by the coindidence signal, and a controller 7 are provided. |
