PURPOSE:To provide a binary diazo copying material not causing flocculation and precipitation in the manufacturing process and capable of forming a good- quality image, by adding fine powder of an organic polymer having a specified property to a photosensitive layer and/or a precoat layer. CONSTITUTION:A fine powder of polyacrylate or its derivative obtained as secondary flocculated particles has 3-10mum size, 80-95% void, 20-30m<2>/g specific surface area, and >=50 deg.C film forming temperature. A liquid for forming a photosensitive layer containing at least one kind of said fine powder, a diazo compound represented by the general formulaI, R<1> being 1-4C alkyl, X being an anion, and a coupler represented by the general formula II, R<2>, R<3> being 1-4C alkyl or the formula III, n being 2 or 3, is coated on a support, and dried to form a binary type diazol photosensitive layer. A precoat layer may be formed before forming the photosensitive layer, and said specified fine powder may be added only to said precoat layer, or to both of this layer and the photosensitive layer. |
