PURPOSE:To prevent the exhaust pipe of an engine from breaking at the mooring of the ship by a method wherein the exhaust pipe is arranged inside the knuckle and at the same time outside both the right and left ends of bulkhead and the end of the exhaust pipe is open at the stern of the ship. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust pipe 22 of the engine is arranged on the inside upper surface of the knuckle 20 of a hull 21 and at the same time outside both the right and left ends of the bulkhead 10 and fixed with an overlay layer 23. The opening 24 of the exhaust pipe 22 is provided at the stern 8 and at the same time the forward end of the exhaust pipe 22 is connected to the exhaust port 27 of the engine 1 by means of rubber hose or the like. |
