A digital ITS signal generator usable as a reference standard instrument in systems for producing, transmitting and diffusing color television signals by the PAL system comprises a pulse generator whose synchronism generator (P.G.) is off standard and has the subcarrier frequency fsc and the line frequency fH bound to each other by the relation: fsc = 284 fH.
