<p>PURPOSE:To instantaneously select an optimum interpreted word without reference to the number of corresponding interpreting words by displaying all said words for an input word having many meanings on a display when the word is inputted. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1 stores an input register INDR with an input code in response to an input interrupt signal generated by keyboard operation. When it is a character code, its contents are stored in an input buffer IBn which corresponds to the value (n) of a count register N. The contents of the input register INDR are written in the (n)-address storage location of a CRT refresh memory 10. Further, the contents of the register N are incresed by one, and this is repeated to input and display a word to be interpreted. With a translation key, the contents of buffers IB0-IBn are written in a word buffer group WB and the contents of the buffer IB are cleared; and interpreted words in the memory 10 among the contents of the buffer group WB which are the same with index words of an interpretation table TT are written at display positions and thus all the interpreted words are displayed on a CRT display 8 at the same time.</p> |
