PURPOSE:To get rid of a recognition error of alarm sound generated time and its set time, by generating an alarm sound after a constant interval of time has passed after a stop time point of the alarm sound, and also executing the sound alarm of present time information at every prescribed time interval when said constant interval of time is passing. CONSTITUTION:At alarm set time, coincidence of stored alarm set time and present time is detected by a timepiece circuit, a coincidence detecting signal is sent to a sound synthesizing circuit 11, and a reproducing alarm sound is formed by a loudspeaker 13. In case when an alarm stop button of a key switch part 2 has been operated by hearing an alarm sound, the alarm sound is stopped, and an alarm function of the clock is stopped. In case when an alarm temporary stop button has been operated, the alarm sound is generated again after a constant interval of time has passed. As long as this button is operated, the alarm sound is repeated without fail after a constant interval of time has passed. Accordingly, such inconvenience as recognizes by mistake that the time when the alarm has sounded is alarm set time is removed. |
