PURPOSE:To display an exact azimuth without being influenced even if a car body is magnetized, by providing an azimuth sensor in a position which is not influenced by a magnetic field of the car body, and displaying an azimuth detected by its sensor, on an azimuth indicator provided in the car. CONSTITUTION:An azimuth sensor 1 forms a magnetic field, for instance, by placing a coil crosswise and making a current flow. When a position of the azimuth sensor 1 is varied, a magnetic field of the coil is varied due to influence of terrestrial magnetism, and a variation of the current occurs. Its current variation is amplified by an amplifier 8, is made to flow to a driving coil of a needle 9 of an azimuth display device 3 installed on a meter panel, etc. of a driver's cabine, the needle 9 is deflected, by which the azimuth is displayed. In this regard, a magnetic line of force L generated by a magnetic field of a car body is also displayed. |
