PURPOSE:To facilitate the wiping operation of a wiper by a structure wherein a manual arm and a wiper blade are coupled onto a single shaft mounted to a left-hand handlebar. CONSTITUTION:The recoil strength of a coil spring 14 attains to the maximum value when the wiper blade 18 is elected to a nearly vertical position by turningly operating the manual arm 11 anticlockwise with the thumb of the left hand of a driver. Accordingly, the wiper blade 18 is rendered to be back to its former position by letting go the thumb of the left hand off the manual arm 11 after its anticlockwise turning operation by means of the thumb and, after that, the manual arm 11 is turningly operated again and the thumb lets go in order to be back the wiper blade 18 to its former position and so on. Owing to the repeated operation of turning the manual arm 11, the wiper blade 18 is moved back and forth within the normal working range so as to wipe the front surface of a windshield 3 with the wiper blade 18 in order to remove rain drops and the like adhered on the front surface of the windshield 3. |
