The invention concerns a brake arrangement for a wheeled cross-country ski to simulate the action of the force of propulsion at the binding against the base during actual skiing and the ski contains a foot plate with at least one front wheel 1 and at least one back wheel 3 provided with a brake 2, which foot plate is designed to support the skier's boot and has a front and a rear part 4, 5, which parts are hinged together to turn about a horizontal axis of rotation and are prestressed into a normal position by means of a spring element 9. Furthermore, there is a lever system 2, 6 arranged to influence the brake 2 when there is a change in the angle between the parts from the normal position, in accordance with the size of the change. In order to achieve an even more lifelike function of the training ski with regard not only to the vertical component of the force of propulsion but also the horizontal component thereof, the invention proposes that the axis of rotation 15 is situated essentially directly underneath the back edge of the sole of the boot fastened to the foot plate and the lever system contains an actuating arm 6 firmly joined to the front part 4, which extends backward past the axis of rotation 15 and is designed to act on the brake 2 not only when there is a rotation between the parts 4, 5 of the foot plate from the normal position, but also upon lengthwise backward motion relative to the rear part 5. <IMAGE> |
