PURPOSE:To reduce an unusing area of each ink layer and to obtain a heat- sensitive transfer recording sheet which has a better yield, by a method wherein a plural number of ink layers in different colors formed on a main surface of a base sheet is arranged along a subscanning direction. CONSTITUTION:Each of ink layers in a red color 201, a blue color 202, and a yellow color 203 is arranged along a subscanning direction. In the case of a transfer recording, through movement in a recording width direction b of a heat- sensitive transfer recording sheet 1, the recording can correspond to the number of picture elements actually needed in one line. Or, a total width T1 of the ink layers 201-203 can be set to about 20% of a recording width T2, and thereby, the total area of the ink layers 201-203 can be utilized effectively for the transfer recording. Additionally, if a black color ink layer 204 is formed, the expression of a black color can be simply conducted without relay on transfer which is performed in a manner to overlap the ink layers 201-203 in 3 primary colors. |
