PURPOSE:To obtain a picture having a high-degree recording density and high resolution by covering the belt surface with magnetic fluid, distributing it by constant space frequency, and adhering magnetic elevation particles to the recording paper surface by floating or spraying. CONSTITUTION:A belt 1 is rotationally driven in the arrow direction by drive shafts 4', 4'' and 4'''. A magnetic film magnetized vertically to the surface with constant space frequency of 400 units/mm.<2> is formed on the belt 1. A roll 5 touches the belt 1 and covers the belt with a magnetic fluid 6. The magnetic fluid attached to the belt 1 forms elevation particles 2 according to the space frequency of the magnetic poles. A multineedle electrode 3 having an electrode pitch of, for example, 12 pieces/mm.<2> is disposed inside the belt 1, contacting the same, and the voltage is applied thereto according to the picture signals by a driving circuit 9. From the point of the elevation particle in correspondence to this electrode 3, the magnetic fluid floats and contacts a recroding paper 8 and is recorded in dot form. |
