<p>A hot melt adhesive comprising 20 - 70% of a copolymer of maleic anhydride and a monovinyl aromatic compound such as styrene, said copolymer containing about 8 - 30% maleic anhydride, and 80 - 30% of a modifier composition comprising (a) at least one polycarboxylic acid ester as a plasticiser, (b) a highly viscous liquid extender, (c) a tackifier and (d) an antioxidant especially of the sterically hindered phenol kind.</p> |
