PURPOSE:To exclude irrelevant nonspecific reactions and thereby obtain accurate measusred values of antigens and antibodies, by executing a antigen-antibody reaction after treating a sample containing the antigens or antibodies to be measured with polyanions which are soluble to a reactive medium. CONSTITUTION:A sample containing antigens or antibodies to be measured is treated with polyanions such as dextran sulfate, heparin, and polystyrene sulfonic acid, and then the antigen-antibody reaction of it to antibodies or antigens corresponding thereto is made in a reactive medium. For polyanion treatment, polyanions are made to exist in the reactive medium on the occasion of the antigen-antibody reaction. There is such treatment as is conducted in a soild or liquid phase containing the polyanions beforehand prior to the antigen-antibody reaction. The density of polyanions is preferably 0.001-0.5wt%, and when it is too much, the reaction becomes unstable, while a nonspecific reaction restraining effect, as well as the accuracy, decrease when it is too little. |
