A device for the extraction of capillary blood comprises a plastic capillary open at both ends. The capillary is of predetermined volume and has a capillary effect at least at its front end. A holder which is provided with one or more windows is integrally connected to said capillary. For avoiding dosage errors air exit apertures of restricted size are provided at the rear end of the capillary. These air exit apertures are realized either by the use of a suitably profiled closure pin or by one or more openings in a transverse wall at the rear of the capillary. The air exit apertures reduce the size of the blood lobe which forms at the rear end of the capillary thus reducing dosage errors resulting from variation in the size of this blood lobe. |
