PURPOSE:To form turbulences of the suction air in an action chamber, scavenge the remaining gas, and improve the fuel consumption and gas exhaust characteristics by providing a rotary valve injecting the suction air into the action chamber for a certain period and also providing a nozzle hole injecting the air into the action chamber for a certain period. CONSTITUTION:The suction air is injected through a rotary valve 13 for a certain period so as to form strong turbulences of the suction air in an action chamber 8 at a suitable time from a suction stroke to the beginning of a compression stroke of the action chamber of an engine. In addition, the air sent by pressure from a pump 10 is injected into the action chamber 8 for a certain period through the rotary valve 13 and a nozzle hole 17 so as to scavenge the remaining gas in the vicinity of the transition point transferring from the exhaust stroke to the suction stroke of the action chamber 8 of the engine. Thereby, the fuel consumption and gas exhaust characteristics can be improved. |
