PURPOSE:To prevent the insufficient starting and the knocking by supplying the gasoline and the alcohl separately stored in a tank to the independent float chamber then controlling the alcohl supply ratio in accordance to the operating condition by means of the jet in the chamber. CONSTITUTION:At the start and under the light and intermediate load of an engine 19, only the gasoline G is fed from the main jet of a float chamber 7a to the main nozzle of a primary bore 10. Undr the heavy load of the engine 19, when the negative pressure of a manifold 17 decreases as the opening of a throttle valve 10a increases the vacuum control valve 16 is turned off to lower a vacuum piston 14 thus to push down a power valve 13 and to open a power jet 12. Consequently the alcohol A is also fed from the power je 12 to the main nozzle of the bore 10. Furthermore under the high output high speed operation, the secondary valve will open thus to feed the gasoline and the alcohl from the other main jet and the main jet of a chamber 7b to the nozzle of the bore 11. |
