PURPOSE:To wind a belt like rubber material of relatively low rigidity accurately to a tire forming drum, by winding the belt like rubber material to the tire forming drum holding its tip at its one face and applying tension. CONSTITUTION:A belt like rubber material 7 is carried to a tire forming drum 1, being held with its tip by a first holding means 20, and press-bonded, then the holding means 20 is isolated. Applying tension to the belt like rubber material 7 and rotating a drum 1, the rubber material 7 is wound to the drum 1 by a predetermined length 3 and the rubber material 7 is cut being held by a second holding means 21, and the rear end of the rubber material 7 is held by the holding means 21 and a remaining part is wound to the drum 1, tension being applied, and the rear end of the rubber material 7 is press-bonded to the drum 1. |
