PURPOSE:To obtain stillness by a very simple structure, and to improve efficiency, by making a punch which is mechanically vibrated by an electromagnetic means collide with a punch, and crushing the shaft end part of a rivet. CONSTITUTION:When a piston 3a is made to go down in a state that an electromagnet 5 is not operated, in the figure, a holding arm 4 remains as it is, upper and lower plates 7, 11 and each member tightly stuck to them go down in one body. Subsequently, a holding pin 12d contacts with a member 19 to be caulked, and after that, a spring 12c is charged, a space between the members 19, 20, and between the head parts of rivets 17, 18 and the member 20 is removed, and also the shaft part tips of the rivets 17, 18 are pressed down by prescribed pressure by punches 12a, 12b. After that, when the electromagnetic 5 is energized and de-energized alternately, a hammer 14 goes up, charging a tension spring 15 together with an adjusting nut 16, and subsequently goes down by being energized by the spring 15, and hits against a holder 8. After the caulk-working has been executed by repeating said process, the electromagnet 5 is stopped, the piston 3a is drawn up, the next rivet and the member 19 are set, and this process is returned to the state shown in the figure. |
