PURPOSE:To execute finish-working to a work without an eye mark, by supporting a ironing roll by a shaft which is inclined freely in the direction of a rotary shaft of a mandrel, and bringing the roll to a moderate abutment on the work in accordance with the external shape of the mandrel. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 7 is placed at right angles to the direction of the center shaft of a mandrel 1, and an ironing roll 4 is supported by a shaft 8 supported at right angles to the shaft 7. Subsequently, the shaft 8 is inclined so as to go along with the external shape in the axial direction of the mandrel 1, and on the contact surface of a curve 9 and a work 2, thrust in the external shape direction of the mandrel 1 and pushing force meeting at right angles to the outside surface of the mandrel are generated, and the work is formed smoothly. Also, a wide circumferential surface having a large curve 10 following the small curve 9 has a draft angle from the rear end part of the curve 9, and also the shaft 8 freely rotates in accordance with the external shape of the mandrel 1 and abuts on the work 2 moderately. |
