PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of hot repairing work and to form a firm repaired wall by spraying a castable refractory on a part of the inner wall of a blast furnace to be repaired while blowing off a deposit stuck to the part so as to clean the part. CONSTITUTION:Suspended dust such as coke breeze, fine ore and ash sticks to a part 20 of a blast furnace to be repaired. By spouting compressed air from a blowoff nozzle 21, the deposit 23 is removed in the hot state of operation under reduced production. A spray nozzle 7 is then set toward the surface of the part 20 cleaned by removing the deposit 23, and a castable refractory is sprayed to repair the part 20 in the hot state. |
